ENS Renewal Fees

You can extend the registration time of your .ETH name at any moment and you can pay in advance for as many years as you'd like. The fees for renewals are set by the ENS Dao and are the same as the initial registration cost based on the length of the name:

5 characters or longer cost $5/year

4 character names cost $160/year

3 character names cost $640/year

Vision Renewal Fee

By using our Renewal Tool for renewing your ENS domains, you agree to our Renewal FAQ:

• There are fees from Vision.io for (bulk) renewals. When renewing domains through Vision.io, a 15% service fee is applied based on the domain's price value. For example, if you're renewing a domain priced at $5, the fee collected by Vision.io would be $0.75.

Additionally to the Fee, there is a Ethereum gas fee to process the transaction when using the (bulk) renew tool. This is not a fee collected by Vision.io but rather what Ethereum miners receive for validating and securing the transaction on the blockchain.

Save on Gas Fees

• Bulk renewal of multiple names significantly reduces gas fees compared to renewing individually.

• Renewing names for more than one year at a time also helps save on gas costs, making it a cost-effective option for long-term domain management.
